A full day tour on the west coast of the mainland to discover the richness of the culture of this area. Discover the white-sand of Ouano beach. Visit the most iconic places of La Foa, a pioneer city: Banu Hotel built in 1883, Marguerite Bridge, and some of the nicest old styled colonial houses. Enjoy a lunch at a local restaurant. On the afternoon, visit of Fort Teremba with your guide.




  • 8 AM: Noumea Hotel pick-up by private local guide

  • Stop at white-sandy Ouano beach

  • Visit La Foa pioneer city: Banu Hotel which was built in 1883, Marguerite Bridge, old-fashioned colonial house

  • Full-course lunch in Farino at the famous riverside guesthouse: Chez Mamie: hearty family cuisine made from local produces

  • Visit Fort Teremba, the former 19th-century prison that witnessed the early days of both penal and free settlers in the area, as well as the 1878 kanak uprising led by Chief Atai.

  • Return to hotel at around 4:30pm/5pm
